I don’t get it at all, especially since it comes with better weapons. If it functions they malanthdope they intended, it’s probably pts not 90 and works on units, rather than models. But I think it’s bad rule design, when you consider that aoe rulss aren’t a thing anymore and model placement isn’t really necessary to avoid them.

Not necessarily good or even decentbut 30″ malanthropee, can shoot in combat, can drop gargs, leave and charge anything else. Something similar is the Ork Kustom Force Field, it got updated in the FAQ where the entire unit had to be in the 9″ bubble to get the save.

Carnifex 67 with two pairs of Scything Talons 20 and Tresher Scythe 7 costs 94 points. They’re pretty good is what I’m mlanthrope. Annoyingly, both the buff from the Malanthropes ,alanthrope the buff from the Venomthrope are both called Shrouding Spores but they’re worded very differently. Not even a Dam 3 or something to compensate? Submit a new link. They also grant Preferred Enemy to everything in their Synapse range if they’re involved in a Combat where you destroy a Unit, and have a bunch of other fluffy rules that will never actually matter.
June 28, 1: The reason Shrouding Spore is worded malanthripe way is because it’s intended to be used on Monsters. He seems really good, but isn’t cheaper? Yeah, if all it gives the benefit to is monsters and other big stuff I could live with it as priced. Your opponent doesn’t target models, they target units.

Of course, the output isn’t exactly stellar, and neither is the survivability, while the cost is very high. Heirodules continue to be shitty at shooting, and unlike most other titanic units they get no “make more attacks but weaker” option, which hurts a lot on the Scythed Heirodule.
