Some interesting and useful features which attracted my attention are, the modern notation, anecdotes, footnotes, clarity and brevity in presenting the mathematical arguments.

The mathematician Siddhajta — CE wrote a text called al-Jam siddganta bi hisal-al-Hind Addition and Subtraction in Indian Arithmeticwhich was translated into Latin in the 13th century as Algorithmi de numero indorum. Although Brahmagupta does not explicitly state that these quadrilaterals are cyclic, it is apparent from his rules that this is the case.
