The other books had an advantage of being able to continue relationships into the subsequent books, I thought the six books seven if you count the prequel in the O’Malley series were good books.

The Rescuer By Dee Henderson – More Than a Review
That’s one nenderson town I’d love to live in. We all need a recsuer or friends like each one of the O’Malley’s. Stephen leaves his paramedic job and tries to find peace and happiness somewhere else after his sister dies. I would have liked the book to go into more detail on how things ended up for the main character. On the plus side, if a series that is 10 years old, holds up for reading in and re-reading after re-reading, there must be something good about it.
When he returns, he buys a small farm in a small town resxuer of Chicago, and is ready to start his new life. The action scenes had me on the edge of my seat and I was madly turning the pages all day!! No trivia or quizzes yet.
