Because this book is meant as an struuctural book to geology, many things though aren’t explained in much detail, as for example the different ways of calculating deformation in the field.
It’s both theoretical and practical … with excellent illustrations and thought-provoking examples. The collection of animated e-learning modules that is geklogy here complements the chapters in the textbook. Professor Fossen has been involved in editing several international geology journals, has gdology over 90 scientific publications, and has written two books and several book chapters.
